Ruairidh Maclean
Highland-based broadcaster, writer and storyteller, working mostly in Gaelic. His work centres on the connections between Gaelic and nature, particularly how Gaelic names and folklore can help us better understand nature. Recent publications include Place-Names of Inverness and the Surrounding Area (2021) and Ecosystem Services and Gaelic: A Scoping Exercise (2020).

Dr Emily Gal and Dr Rebecca Rennell are archaeology lecturers based at UHI Outer Hebrides, working on the Uist Virtual Archaeology Project, an innovative digital project which created the Uist Unearthed App containing Augmented Reality (AR) reconstructions of five archaeological sites along the Hebridean Way in Uist

Iain MacKinnon’s research examines the Scottish Gàidhealtachd in the context of British imperialism, primarily but not exclusively as a site of internal colonisation, and the consequences today of these imperial relationships. He is a Gàidheal from the Isle of Skye.
